The story
Why MiniBou Co?
MiniBou Co was born from a deeply personal place. After leaving a cult and rebuilding my life entirely on my own terms, I came to understand just how powerful education, autonomy, and empowerment really are and how rarely people in business actually get them (especially creatives!)
I started my career as a TESOL teacher working with children across the South-East Asian market — from toddlers aged two all the way through to teenagers, and adults with disability or barriers to learning. That work taught me how to communicate across wildly different contexts, how to meet people where they are, and how to make complex things genuinely accessible. During that time I also picked up contracts as a writer, proofreader, and transcriber.
When I'm not working, you'll find me at home with my three cats — Ollie, Enzo, and Vinci or out thrifting, crafting, reading, or volunteering for community projects. That life outside the work I do is what keeps my creative work grounded and real.
